In this second workshop we got an insight into the game based learning. Rudi presented the topic with the help of power point.

With the first slide he describes in two different ways (analog and digital) the meaning of:

• gaming
• game based learning
• gamification

He shows us short videos for better understanding.
Gaming is an activity without sense, it will be done just for fun out of boredom, either analog and digital.
Game based learning is to increase knowledge but no competence.
Gamification extends competences
