The German team is in Cáceres! After a long journey, the German team arrived at the hotel premises on Sunday 5th May. On Monday, both the German and Spanish teams, led by the principal of IES Javier García Téllez- Juan Payo- had a tour around the school facilities and workshops and an introductory presentation to the Spanish educational system.
The work during the second meeting in Cáceres evolved around four main workshops: Virtual Reality, Game-based learning, Augmented Reality and Industry 4.0.
Workshop 1: Virtual Reality
During the first workshop, the Erasmus team learnt about different existing VR solutions in the region of Extremadura as well as companies in our region involved in the use of VR. As for VR tools in education, teachers became familiar with popular VR and AR resources that are currently being used such as Moatboat, Storyfab and Cospaces Edu.
This first session included testing a 360º tour of Cáceres created with Cospaces and a practical workshop in which each member created a short VR experiences using the same tool.

Workshop 4: Augmented Reality
During the fourth workshop, the Erasmus team learnt about how to create an Augmented Reality project using a tool called Aumentaty which facilitates the acccess to additional information, in different formats such as images, texts, videos, 3D images and links.
In the same way, this fourth session included the knowlegde of the mobile application of Aumentaty called Scope with the same environment and way of use and that also allows us to search the projects of other users.
